The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time Certified IT Developer in the Bureau of Technology Development and Systems. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of BA/QA/UX, the successful candidate will: exercise significant independent judgment while partnering with developers and business units to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. You’ll be a key stakeholder in the development lifecycle bridging the gap between business needs and system design, providing early feedback and tracking project milestones to ensure our software is seamless. From defining functional specifications to overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), you will be responsible for ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of excellence.
