About The Position

Univista Insurance is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented IT Developer to join our growing team in Miami. As a key member of the IT department, the ideal candidate will contribute to developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that improve business operations and enhance customer experience. The IT Developer will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure smooth integration of technology solutions that support the company’s goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development or IT-related roles.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, etc.).
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications according to business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and improvements.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance.

• Provide technical support and training to internal teams as necessary
