We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties [Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem] in BAYADA’s ACSP Division. BAYADA is urgently hiring and offers training for CHHA certification, with open enrollment for courses priced at $250. Assistance with the application to be a CHHA with New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing is also provided. As a BAYADA HHA, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home, developing close relationships with your clients. Requirements

  • Minimum one year work experience.
  • Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
  • A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
  • Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous home health care or patient care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
  • Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Perform range of motion exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Perform vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).
