About The Position

The job is for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) at BAYADA, a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization. BAYADA is urgently hiring HHAs to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to adults, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. The role involves one-on-one client interaction in their homes across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties. BAYADA emphasizes a supportive work environment, offering training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to employee satisfaction. They also provide assistance with the application process to become a CHHA with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing and offer open enrollment for CHHA courses.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home
Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
Meal preparation and feeding
Range of motion/exercises
Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
Medication reminders
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
