About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate individuals to join their personal care and companionship team as a Home Health Aide (HHA). This role offers meaningful work, supporting clients one-on-one with activities of daily living to help them live their best lives at home. BAYADA is committed to providing training, flexibility, and a supportive team environment. The company is urgently hiring HHAs for its ACSP Division in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties. As a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization, BAYADA focuses on delivering high-quality care, enabling patients to live safely at home with comfort, independence, and dignity. Training is available for those without prior experience, including assistance with the CHHA application process with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Nursing.

Requirements

Minimum one year work experience.
Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Previous home health care or patient care experience.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range of motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation, including transfers and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
