About The Position

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Home Health Aide (CHHA) at BAYADA, a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping people live their best lives at home. As a member of the personal care and companionship team, you will provide meaningful one-on-one support to clients with activities of daily living. BAYADA offers training, flexibility, and a supportive team environment. The company is urgently hiring for CHHAs to serve patients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties. Training is available, and previous home health care experience is welcomed but not required. The role involves developing close relationships with clients while providing personal care, household support, and companion care to help them stay safe and independent at home.

Requirements

• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services
• Provide household support
• Provide companion care (homemaker) services
• Help adults stay safe and independent at home
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Medication assistance
