Assisting Hands Home Care – Wayne is seeking compassionate and dependable part-time Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes throughout Passaic and Morris Counties . In this role, you’ll follow individualized Plans of Care to help clients maintain safety, comfort, and dignity. Requirements

Active NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Willing and able to work in Passaic and Morris Counties
Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in senior care or direct support preferred
Knowledge of long-term care practices and client rights is a plus
CPR certification preferred
Proof of negative TB test or chest X-ray
Ability to lift/transfer clients safely

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care and hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility, transfers, and laundry)
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment
Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance
Observe and report changes in health or behavior to the agency supervisor
Offer medication reminders
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
Perform light housekeeping duties
Provide transportation to appointments and errands
Follow all agency policies and uphold client dignity and rights
