Requirements

Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and a genuine commitment to providing quality care.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Must be able to communicate in English required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Support clients with mobility and help facilitate physical activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel valued and respected.
Administer medications as prescribed and keep track of clients' health status.
Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and other household needs.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare team.
