About The Position

Requirements

Valid PA CHHA Certification – required by law to provide hands-on care.
Completion of PA state-approved training program : 60 hours of classroom instruction 16 hours supervised clinical practice
Criminal background check clearance (mandatory for certification).
Strong communication, reliability, and compassion.
Physical ability to safely perform transfers and caregiving duties.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred, not required).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred for client travel).

Responsibilities

Personal Care & Daily Living Assistance Provide help with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands. Offer companionship and emotional support.
Health & Safety Support Give medication reminders as directed. Accompany clients to medical appointments or community activities. Observe, record, and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse. Follow infection control and safety procedures consistently.
