Requirements

  • Certified Diesel Technician (Ford certification preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing diesel engines and fleet vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel, electrical, emissions, and drivability systems
  • Proven experience performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and major diesel repairs
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and repair software
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced fleet/service environment
  • Commitment to safety standards and dealership procedures
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and fleet vehicles accurately and efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on fleet and commercial vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, emissions, fuel, and drivability systems
  • Complete work in accordance with Ford manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
  • Accurately document all diagnostics, repairs, and recommended services
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and fleet managers regarding repair needs and timelines
  • Ensure timely turnaround of fleet vehicles while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
