About The Position

The Electrician at Velociti Services is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in commercial environments. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and safely perform work on both simple and advanced electrical systems in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Requirements

Commercial electrician experience required; NFPA 70E certification is mandatory
Journeyperson-level experience
Strong knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete company-specific safety orientation
Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
High attention to detail with an organized and safety-focused work approach
Dependable, accountable, and professional in all responsibilities
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Strong commitment to Velociti Services’ values and customer service standards
Collaborative team player with a consultative, customer-focused mindset
Ability to work at elevated heights using boom lifts and scissor lifts
Applicants for this role must be able to:
Lift up to 60 pounds
Bend, squat, stretch, and lift repeatedly throughout the workday
Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times per day
Stand and work on feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
Perform expert-level conduit bending, measuring, and installation
Conduct general electrical maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
Repair or replace electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), state, and local building regulations
Utilize and maintain various electrical testing equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
Light plumbing and painting
Material pickup and transport
Installation of signage
Forklift operation
