Make a difference as a Certified Caregiver As a Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante in our Sierra Vista Highlands community, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through compassionate and dedicated care. In this vital role, you will provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident. You will recognize and address their spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs, ensuring a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with mobility and safety during transfers. Additionally, you will aid residents with personal hygiene tasks and provide compassionate end-of-life care to ensure peace and dignity. Your commitment to nutritional care will be crucial as you assist with meals, accommodate special dietary needs, and monitor hydration levels. What we're looking for in a Certified Caregiver To excel as a Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante in our Sierra Vista Highlands community, you will need a combination of specialized skills and certifications. A valid Arizona Caregiver Certification is a state requirement for this role. In addition, a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card and an Arizona Memory Care Certification are also required. Your qualifications should also include a valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association, along with proof of a negative TB test, which can also be facilitated by our team. Success in this position hinges on your strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Your ability to remain empathetic, efficient, and resourceful will greatly impact the well-being and quality of life for our residents. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification (can be provided by Via Elegante) Valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification Red cross or American Heart Association Proof of Negative TB Test (can be provided by Via Elegante) Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving If you are a CNA or an LNA you will still need to take a 16 hour Bridge course to get your Caregiver Certification prior to being employed.
