About The Position
A public school district in Washington State is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide direct behavioral support within a high school setting. Requirements
- Prior experience supporting students with aggressive or challenging behaviors
- Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential required
- Active CBT certification required
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral support to a high school student with challenging behaviors and aggression
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under appropriate supervision
- Monitor and document behavioral progress and interventions accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Uphold student privacy, dignity, and safety at all times
- Participate in team meetings and school-based educational programs as required
