About The Position

The Certificate Programs Specialist provides support for GCSAA’s growing portfolio of certificate programs such as, the Greenkeeper Certificate Program, the Spray Technician Certificate (launching soon), the Assistant Superintendent Certificate Series (ASCS) and the Equipment Manager Certificate Program (EMCP). Position will manage participant records, progress tracking, assignments, completions, recognition, and reporting for all certificate programs while maintaining a high-quality experience for participants, reliable program execution and responsive customer service. Position will manage renewals for Certified Golf Course Superintendent program. Our mantra is simple: Everyone paddles. Hourly pay rate $21.00 - $22.00 per hour. Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a support role within a professional office environment
  • Exceptional professional customer service skills with a strong focus on responsiveness
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills required
  • High attention to detail to provide accurate work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) with ability to learn new web platforms, applications, and databases easily
  • Basic math and budget reconciliation skills needed
  • Ability to travel to the annual GCSAA Conference & Trade Show essential
  • High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with database management, tracking systems or learning management systems preferred
  • General knowledge of membership associations, the game of golf or the golf course management profession desired, but not required
  • Associate’s or Bachelors’ degree highly desired
