About The Position
A well-established, multi-site childcare and early education organization with multiple locations across New York is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead and scale the business. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on owning day-to-day operations, driving performance across locations, and leading the organization through its next phase of growth. The CEO will be responsible for both execution and expansion—ensuring strong operations while identifying and driving new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience running and owning operations for a childcare, healthcare, education, or regulated service organization
- Track record of driving growth, performance, and operational improvement
- Strong P&L ownership and business management experience
- Experience overseeing multi-site operations and leadership teams
- Hands-on, execution-driven leader with strong decision-making ability
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across a multi-location organization
- Own overall business performance, including P&L, budgeting, and financial outcomes
- Lead and manage senior leadership, site directors, and operational teams
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability across all locations
- Identify growth opportunities and lead expansion into new programs and locations
- Build structure, improve processes, and elevate operational performance
- Serve as the senior decision-maker across the organization
