About The Position

The Central Sterile Specialist at Salmon Creek 2 processes, sterilizes, and maintains reusable instruments supporting Orthopedics, Urgent Care, OB/GYN ( additional departments as needed ). You will follow recommended and mandated procedures to ensure the safety and sterility of reusable instruments, along with performing quality control procedures on a routine basis. To be successful in this role you will need to be detail oriented and able to work in an efficient way. Hiring range is generally between $20.05-$24.05 and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience. Location: Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street – Vancouver, WA 98686) Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care. We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers. Physical Demands: this role requires regular physical activity, including standing for extending periods, lifting and moving instrument trays, bending, reaching and working in a fast-paced environment. The position is inherently hands-on and physically active.
