About The Position

The Central Service Technician II is a team member responsible for supporting the MultiCare Health System's healthcare team. This involves cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, managing inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment. The role requires a cooperative attitude, works under direct supervision, and involves routine tasks that demand a service-oriented approach, time and equipment organization, independent decision-making for daily duties, and task prioritization. The technician will interact daily with internal staff, including patient care providers and Materials Management, and occasionally with external contacts such as patients, vendors, rental companies, other healthcare facilities, and physicians.

Requirements

• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program, as required by location; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
