About The Position

Performs support functions related to equipment/supply use appropriate to the position, and in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Visual and hearing acuity, ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to routinely lift 25 pounds
• Considerable walking, pushing, or pulling equipment and supply carts weighing up to 65 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and overhead use of arms
• Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job
• Basic computer and calculator skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to form effective working relationships with co-workers, management and customers
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital purchasing, sterilization, distribution, inventory management, or other hospital experience preferred.
• Disinfection and sterilization equipment, fax, copier,telephone, computer and calculator preferred.
