About The Position

Central Supply Technician Brothers of Mercy is WNY’s largest 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility and one of the top-performing nursing homes in the entire state. Our Central Supply Technician is responsible for planning and organizing purchases of non-prescription medical products in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, as directed. Central Supply Technician duties include: Responsible to provide supplied and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Delegated sufficient authority, responsibility, and accountability to carry out assigned duties Interpret procurement policies and procedures to personnel as necessary Order sufficient quantities of common items/ supplies to maintain adequate stock levels at all time Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. with incoming merchandise and ensure correct/complete invoices are forwarded to accounting office for payment Routine rounds to nursing units to restock supplies. Check emergency equipment at each nurses station and replace as necessary Maintain supply and storage rooms in safe, clean, and orderly condition Brothers of Mercy is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
