About The Position

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Central Service Distribution Technician to our Team! Shift: 1st & 2nd shift combination Schedule: 7a - 3:30p & 10a - 6:30p Hours per week: 40 Benefits Status: Eligible Department: Central Services Distribution The CS Distribution Tech is responsible for stocking, allocation, inventory, and distribution of supplies and small medical equipment. Fills orders for nursing units and departments and expenses appropriately. Dispenses stat orders to areas as needed. Answers the telephone and responds to requests. Restocks items on exchange carts, shelves, and pyxis units to maintain established par levels. Visually checks equipment stored in CS Distribution and sends to Bio-Med for repair if needed. Restocks supplies needed on floor units, ER, treatment rooms, clean utility rooms, or any areas holding CS inventory supplies. Delivers, exchanges, replenishes, and logs, Crash Carts, Specialty Carts, deployed to nursing areas. Monitors Nurse Servers in ICU and CICU for stock replenishment as needed. Maintains inventory records as required. Inputs data into the supply chain computer applications. Participates in annual physical inventory count. Attaches yellow labels on stock to indicate month and year of outdate. Completes other duties as assigned. Maintains inventory of some OR supplies, rotating stock and checking outdates. Sets up case carts, based computer generated picklist. Orders inventory from Storeroom as needed to complete cash cart setups. Pushes case carts to Surgery center core on a nightly basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Adhere to established Beloit Health System and CS Distribution department policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about patients.
• Adhere to clean room required attire.
• Plan and prioritize assigned tasks in an appropriate time frame.
• Possess ability to retain detailed knowledge to complete tasks.
• Participates in educational programs and seeks personal development.
• Completes on-line Safety Training modules within established timeline.
