Managing Directors develop lasting relationships within the business community and are respected for their areas of expertise. Overview: This role is commensurate with a managing partner role at Accenture or IBM. We seek a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology consulting and platform(s) transformation to lead and drive our global initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale transformation projects, building strong client relationships, and driving business development in an international setting. The focus will be on hybrid cloud services, including code modernization, orchestration/integration with various hyperscalers and cloud-based enterprise SaaS providers, and effectively competing with other system integrators. They must be a unique blend of structured and simultaneously entrepreneurial with a demonstrated history of building capabilities, focusing on progress over perfection.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15+ years in technology consulting with a focus on business platform transformation and hybrid cloud services across multiple industries.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives for global organizations, including ERP, CSP, and App Dev.
  • Extensive experience in consulting or relevant roles with leading technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Workday) and the subsequent orchestration around these platforms.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-phase projects; able to translate experience into the current portfolio of offerings and corresponding capabilities with prior P&L responsibility
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in larger consulting organizations with a remit for supporting a portfolio of clients, with experience in competing with other global system integrators.
  • Proven leader in developing and executing a scalable ‘sell-with’ strategy to drive long-term, sustainable ecosystem partnership revenue
  • Deep understanding of business processes across various industries – finance, supply chain, marketing, and operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT industry trends, CIO/CTO focus areas, and the challenges today's digital and technical leaders face.
  • Experience and knowledge of software technologies and best practices for leveraging technology to drive competitive advantage.
  • Expertise in hybrid cloud services, including code/core modernization and orchestration with hyperscalers and enterprise SaaS providers.
  • Strong ability to lead and manage large, diverse teams across multiple global geographies.
  • Experience with alternative delivery models, including onshore and offshore teams.
  • Proven track record in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and ensure successful adoption of new initiatives.
  • Experience in managing P&L and driving growth agendas with primary focus on optimizing for organic growth; some first-hand experience with M&A a plus.
  • Strong relationships with CXO-level executives and demonstrated success in business development and sales.
  • Ability to define and articulate a vision for business platform transformation aligned with strategic goals (e.g., TC2025+ / PRO2025+).
  • Experience in selling large, transformational programs and competing with other system integrators.
  • Advanced critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills (Executive Presence).
  • Solid presentation skills and the ability to effectively influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a vision for business platform transformation aligned with strategic goals.
  • Lead and drive large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
  • Drive the growth agenda, focusing on expanding hybrid cloud services, code modernization, and orchestration with hyperscalers.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a large team across multiple global geographies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Oversee talent and capabilities management to ensure the team has the skills required to deliver on transformational programs.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with CXO-level executives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging deep industry and technology expertise.
  • Define and deliver innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts, identifying and progressing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure client engagement and business growth.
  • Drive the sale of large, transformational programs and effectively compete with other system integrators; support in large deal solutioning (pricing, effort, etc).
  • Thought Leadership: Evangelize leading technology platforms and solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of transformation projects, leveraging industrialized methodologies, alternative delivery models.
  • Utilize high-level analytical and thought leadership skills to anticipate and solve complex problems.
  • Technical and Advisory: Evaluate proposed and created solutions for efficiency, proper design, and modularity.
  • Assist in verifying that standards, processes, and quality are maintained for all client programs and solutions; Participate in the creation and maintenance of Architectural Road Maps.
  • Support the selection of third-party technical and implementation solutions.
