About The Position

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Central Engineering Sales Support team. The primary role will be to perform research on products, pricing, and supporting information for proposal generation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred. Other applicable degrees such as Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical fields will also be considered.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with CRM/ERP systems a plus.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn specialized software such as the Cleaver Brooks configurator.

Nice To Haves

Experience in industrial equipment, boilers, or mechanical systems is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide sales and engineering support for proposal development and customer opportunities.
Collaborate with account managers to prepare accurate and timely proposals.
Review customer inquiries and determine the best approach to meet project requirements.
Research products, materials, and pricing to support quotations.
Configure equipment and system conversions using specialized tools and software.
Assist in preparing presentations and supporting documents for customer meetings.
Track orders and deliveries, ensuring proposals and purchase orders are accurate and aligned.
Support the service team with quick-turnaround quotes when needed.
Maintain accurate project records and communication through company systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and customer support.
