Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Medical Technology, Laboratory Science or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of lab supervisory experience is required.
  • A Florida Supervisors license in Chemistry and Hematology is required all specialties is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree is preferred however not required.

Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Laboratory Operations Manager is responsible for all clinical laboratories throughout FCS. This includes management/oversight of the three central clinical laboratories and all the clinic laboratories.
  • Communicates with staff physicians and others regarding patient results, testing requirements and problem resolution.
  • The Operations Manager will work with the Laboratory Director to ensure the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of procedures in the clinical laboratory that include, but are not limited to assay performance, QA/QC, CAP inspections, testing efficiencies and all regulatory requirements.
  • The Operations Manager will support the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including staffing and purchasing.
