Who we are looking for: The Center for Cancer Care Impact (CCCI) is looking for a highly motivated intern to support ASCO’s mission of delivering high-quality cancer care by maximizing the reach of global programs and initiatives. This internship will provide the intern an opportunity to contribute to high-level strategic work that directly shapes the future of oncology.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate BA/BS degree program, or graduate program, or recently graduated from a 4-year degree program.
- Candidates must be at least a junior or entering their junior year of college at the start of the internship.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (365 preferred)
- A passion for impacting cancer care access and quality
- Excellent research skills, with ability to synthesize inputs and information and produce reports and/or presentations on findings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Willingness to enhance skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and help draft content in support of the Center’s impact; deliverables focused on issues important to the oncology community.
- Help analyze, plan, and execute patient community and professional organization engagement activities for increased impact and efficiency.
- Complete CCCI-related ad-hoc assignments as needed.

- This summer internship position is paid at a rate of $20/hour for actual hours worked.
