Part-Time Fixed Term (until June 2027) Salary: EBA Level 2.1 ($46,540.19 + 12% Super) 3 Days a week Location: Fawkner Are you someone who has extensive experience in grounds/garden maintenance? The opportunity This role within our Fawkner Cemetery involves the upkeep and general maintenance of the cemetery grounds by way of weeding, pruning, digging, raking, mulching, planting, spraying, hedging, edging, blowing, reticulation, and mowing. This work is fast paced, highly intensive and physically demanding and often involves working in adverse weather conditions. Communication, compassion and solid horticulture skills are key to success in this role.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a similar or comparable role.
- Proven understanding of, and commitment to, OHS practices which ensure a safe and healthy working environment for staff and the public
- Display acceptance and understanding of ethno-cultural and religious diversity
- Current driver’s license (mandatory)
Responsibilities
