We are a family-owned cemetery seeking a dependable, hands-on Grounds Superintendent to lead and work alongside our small crew. Requirements

• 3+ years of landscaping, turf, or grounds maintenance experience
• Experience operating tractors and backhoe equipment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Professional, compassionate, and respectful demeanor

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory or crew lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work daily with grounds staff
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, landscaping, and seasonal clean-up
• Assist with grave layout, opening and closing, and marker setting
• Operate and maintain mowers, tractors, backhoe, and hand tools
• Maintain turf, trees, shrubs, and irrigation systems
• Ensure grounds are clean, safe, and prepared for services
• Train crew members and promote a safe work environment
• Support funeral services as needed
