The Cell Technician is based at our facility in Ottawa, KS. We're looking for a team-oriented individual who enjoys the challenge of problem solving. This person is responsible for hot stamp changes, color changes, basic maintenance and trouble shooting. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an injection molding environment
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform various functions required to support auto cell production including: label changes hot stamp film changes basic maintenance and trouble shooting
  • Perform various functions required to support production including: Assist with color changes Assist with material changes, including unloading of railcars Clean metal separators and magnets and remove any contaminated material to the designated area. Stage supplies and prepare work area for upcoming orders Complete Level III QA audits and monitor part quality Accurately complete and/or check First Article Inspections Understand the production schedule and accurately complete any required documentation
  • Report and safety concerns or equipment problems to the Shift Supervisor
