Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields plus minimum 6 years relevant experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting.
• Strong background in cellular and molecular biology lab-based skills.
• Experience in gene therapy.
• Experience in preparing high quality documents including electronic lab notebook entries, technical reports, presentations, and experimental protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enthusiastic and fast learner who pays close attention to detail.
• Ability to be flexible and pivot with changing priority of pace and project.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects to support the identification of therapeutic candidates from discovery into IND enabling studies.
• Execute studies to generate proof of concept data.
• Apply expertise to design, develop scientific activities/projects to identify therapeutic candidates.
• Demonstrate scientific excellence, initiate, design, and execute experiments/studies in support of goals in a time sensitive manner.
• Collaborate extensively with internal teams and be an impactful contributor and member of project teams.
