CEI Mid / Sr. Level Construction Inspector – Charleston, SC Parrish & Partners is hiring a Mid-Level or Senior Level Construction Inspector to advance our CEI operations in South Carolina. To excel you should have an appetite for solving problems, a preference for working outdoors, unwavering integrity in communicating changes to clients and contractors, and be meticulous in electronic documentation. Let’s talk if you have a high school diploma or higher, road and bridge inspection experience, and SCDOT or NCDOT certifications in Earthwork and Base, Asphalt Roadway, and Concrete.

Requirements

high school diploma or higher
road and bridge inspection experience
SCDOT or NCDOT certifications in Earthwork and Base, Asphalt Roadway, and Concrete
valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Performing inspection and testing of road and bridge construction
Reviewing construction plans and documents
Documenting inspection notes and test results
Collecting and transporting test samples
Safely storing and using tools and equipment
Certain functions of the job will require candidates to perform various duties with hand tools and inspection equipment.
The job will require stooping and standing throughout the workday, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds.
This position may require overnight travel.
