About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. wants you as our new Customer Service Supervisor where you will lead daily activities in our Customer Excellence Center (CEC) to deliver outstanding service and ensure our customers have a great experience. You will be hands-on, working with team members and customers to continuously improve processes and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of customer service or in store sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of specialty gas, industrial gas, medical gas and welding related products preferred
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to grasp and learn computer systems and applications
  • Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
  • Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
  • Contributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported
  • Strives for personal achievement and helps others attain results
  • Ensures accountability through collaboration and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the Customer Service Specialists with meeting productivity and service goals by monitoring daily reports and planning for the department
  • You will develop talent by coaching, mentoring, providing constructive feedback, and creating growth opportunities to enhance employee performance and drive organizational success
  • Analyze data, develop strategic improvement plans based on trend patterns, and prepare management reports when necessary
  • Develop relationships with key sales, customer support, distributor, and region management personnel to achieve specific goals and service level standards
  • Build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations through excellent and professional communication that is clear, compelling and concise
  • Optimize work processes through the uses of Six Sigma, Lean & process mapping in order to implement effective strategies, standardize procedures, and streamline workflows
  • Other duties as assigned
