About The Position

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to provide critical administrative and operational support to our Safety & Compliance function. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and internal safety programs while supporting drivers, operations, and leadership with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment where precision and follow-through matter.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Valid Class D driver’s license required; must be eligible for coverage under company motor vehicle insurance policies

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or at least two years of related experience or training (including driver recruitment or DOT-related administrative support)

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across DOT driver-related functions, including recruitment support, onboarding, personnel file maintenance, safety training documentation, orientation, accident investigations, and special projects
  • Support the Safety Department with administrative coordination related to driver physicals, drug screens, urine collections, and breath alcohol testing
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of Safety & Compliance policies and procedures
  • Support accident and incident administrative processes, including documentation, reporting, and follow-up as assigned
  • Assist with security-related administrative duties, including badge management, parking audits/assignments, and information gathering in support of investigations
  • Prepare and maintain reports required for regulatory, legal, or internal business needs
  • Maintain strict adherence to DOT, OSHA, C-TPAT, and company safety and compliance standards
  • Support ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 45001 certification requirements by following established processes and documentation standards
  • Attend and complete all required company training related to development, safety, and compliance
  • Work overtime, weekends, or holidays as business needs require
  • Perform other duties as assigned
