About The Position
The CDL Transfer Driver at SRS Building Products ensures safe, timely transport of building materials between company locations, complying with all regulations and delivery schedules. This role supports operational efficiency and customer service excellence through skilled driving and effective coordination with logistics teams. This field-based role involves frequent travel to transport building materials between locations. Drivers must work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, ensuring safety, punctuality, and regulatory compliance. Operating vehicles in varied weather and terrain requires physical endurance and attention to detail. Strong coordination with logistics teams is key to optimizing routes and maintaining service excellence.
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving
- Knowledge of safety protocols and route planning
- Proficient in transportation systems
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Reliable and proactive problem-solver
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied weather conditions
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

- Vocational training or certification in truck driving
- Experience with route optimization and navigation technologies

Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and follow all safety protocols
- Load/unload materials as needed
