Requirements
- Valid IN CDL Class A license
- Minimum 3 years of CDL A driving experience.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Physical ability to operate a Class A motor vehicle safely.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Thorough knowledge of CDL driving standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a CDL instructor is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer CDL Exams – Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections, Yard Skills, and Road Tests following state and federal guidelines.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety – Evaluate candidates based on CDL testing standards while reinforcing safe driving habits.
- Maintain Accurate Records – Document all examination results thoroughly to meet state regulatory requirements.
- Provide Fair & Objective CDL Testing – Maintain professionalism and impartiality in all driver assessments.
