Requirements

Valid IN CDL Class A license
Minimum 3 years of CDL A driving experience.
Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
Physical ability to operate a Class A motor vehicle safely.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Thorough knowledge of CDL driving standards, regulations, and best practices.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
Availability to work Monday through Friday.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a CDL instructor is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Administer CDL Exams – Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections, Yard Skills, and Road Tests following state and federal guidelines.
Ensure Compliance & Safety – Evaluate candidates based on CDL testing standards while reinforcing safe driving habits.
Maintain Accurate Records – Document all examination results thoroughly to meet state regulatory requirements.
Provide Fair & Objective CDL Testing – Maintain professionalism and impartiality in all driver assessments.
