About The Position

R.J. Corman Switching Company is seeking a CDL-A Operator in Ste. Genevieve, MO.

This position operates specialized equipment in support of inspection,
installation, and maintenance of railroad track.

Requirements

• Demonstrated operation experience and equipment knowledge.
• CDL A License and demonstrated performance operating CDL-A required vehicles
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple mechanical failures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in railroad construction or maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Specialized equipment. (i.e. Backhoe, Crew Truck, Prentice Truck etc.)
• Performs preventative maintenance on heavy or specialized equipment.
• Maintains proper equipment appearance and cleanliness.
• May perform labor duties as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor throughout the job process.
• Ensures working conditions are safe, and proper PPE is being used as job duties require.
• Follow DOT regulations; ensure proper permits and driving regulations are followed.
