About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our Environmental Remediation Department in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a dump truck to transport materials, such as soil, gravel, and debris, from remediation sites. This position plays a critical role in supporting environmental cleanup efforts by ensuring efficient and compliant hauling operations.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • 2 years of dump truck driving experience, preferably in an industrial, oil & gas, or construction setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to comply with safety protocols.
  • Experience hauling hazardous and non-hazardous materials (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission (if applicable).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience hauling hazardous and non-hazardous materials (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Operate a dump truck to transport contaminated and non-contaminated materials safely to and from remediation sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations, including proper load securement and weight distribution.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow designated routes and coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely material transport.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and proper disposal procedures for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Assist with site remediation tasks when not actively transporting materials, including light equipment operation or general labor as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records, including daily truck inspections, mileage reports, and material tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and project managers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and camera assisted driver score by safe driving practices.
