About The Position

Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company - is seeking a Class A Dump Truck Driver- Job Description entails transporting materials like dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, dust from one place to another. Home every night.

Requirements

• Sit for a long periods of time
• Must have CDL A (at least 2 yrs required w/ verifiable DOT experience)
• Must have a good driving record (2 points or less)
• Must meet all Federal DOT Requirements
• Pre and Post trip inspections
• Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary
• Must be able to work overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Climbs on and off truck body during loading, unloading, and tie-down procedures.
• Inspects truck equipment with pre-trip and post-trip walkaround inspection.
• Maintains and follow truck maintenance schedule.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions.
• May assist with snow removal duties, (i.e. plow and salt/sand roads)
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
