CDL Class A or B Driver Location Bethpage, NY Employment W2 company driver Full-time, Part-time, and On-Call positions available Equipment New 26' Hino box trucks Maintained under a strict and consistent preventative maintenance program - we operate only safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles. Position Overview Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A or B drivers to join our growing team. We are a family-owned, safety-focused FedEx contractor that takes pride in how we treat our drivers. At Strange Trip, you're part of the family. This position is a local cartage lane serving customers on the eastern side of Long Island, with early-morning starts and home-daily consistency. The work involves touch freight, including unloading bulky freight. Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, and detail-oriented, and who take pride in doing the job right.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Clean MVR and criminal background
- Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care
- Run Daily local cartage departing early morning from Bethpage, NY
- Home daily
- Monday through Friday schedule with opportunities for weekend work
- Year-round work with steady freight
