About The Position

The CDL Driver III will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, flatbeds, roll-off units, and walking floor trailers. This position is regional and will require overnight travel as part of the weekly schedule.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience, including tanker driving.
• CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Must be fully capable of operating a manual transmission and cannot have any CDL restrictions preventing the operation of manual vehicles.
• Acceptable driving record with the ability to follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Ability to work a regional schedule that includes regular overnight travel

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to DOT regulations.
• Operate specialized pump equipment to load, unload, and disperse cargo or materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete all administrative tasks related to transportation, manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, delivery receipts, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure all placarding meets DOT regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Mentor and assist in training other drivers as needed.
• Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic instructions.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
