CDL Class A Block Truck / Flatbed Driver
About The Position
Nitterhouse Masonry Products is a respected manufacturer of high-quality concrete block, brick, and pavers. We take pride in delivering exceptional products and service to our customers. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team and support our growing delivery operations. Position Summary The CDL Class A Block Truck / Flatbed Driver is responsible for safely transporting masonry products to job sites and customer locations using a block truck or flatbed. This is a first-shift position with local deliveries — home every day.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience required.
- Current DOT medical card and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50–75 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to safety.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with flatbed, boom, or block truck delivery preferred.
- Moffet forklift experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a block truck and/or flatbed truck to deliver concrete block, brick, pavers, and related materials.
- Load and unload materials using proper equipment and secure products according to DOT and company standards.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and yard staff.
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery site.
- Follow all DOT regulations and Nitterhouse safety policies.
