About The Position

Licensed CDL Bus Driver Weymouth Public Schools is a dynamic and inclusive learning community dedicated to "Educational Excellence for Every Weymouth Student." We educate over 5,600 students in 11 school buildings, including Weymouth Early Childhood Center, eight elementary schools (grades K-5), Chapman Middle School (grades 6-8), and Weymouth High School (Grades 9-12). Requirements

• Must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) Endorsement and a School Bus (S) Endorsement
• Must hold a School Bus Driver Certificate from the Department of Public Utilities (DPU)
• Must hold a School Bus Air Brake Endorsement

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving school bus and transporting students as directed by the Director of Transportation.
• May be required for “in-town” field trips (and out-of-town field trips when feasible) as needed.
• May be required for extracurricular/athletic events when needed.
