About The Position

ARE YOU A RECENT CDL GRADUATE? THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, WE PROVIDE PAID TRAINING!!! CDL CLASS A/B REQUIRED POSITION SUMMARY: This is a delivery position responsible for driving a 26ft Straight Truck, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs. MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE NEWARK, NJ FOR TRAINING COMMUTING EXPENSE ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS OF BROOKLYN, QUEENS, LONG ISLAND, BRONX BENEFITS: $25.50/hr Annual performance bonus up to $10,000 Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, and Life Insurance Time off Package which includes: Vacation, Sick and Holidays SCHEDULES: Dispatch times: 2am-5am Shift : 8-10 hours per day, approximately Stops per route: 25-35 depending on location and route Days off : Sunday and second day off in the middle of the week, must be able to work Saturdays RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows Maintain Department of Transportation rules Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery Operate a commercial truck safely 21+ years of age Operate a 26ft Straight Truck with the supervision of an experienced company driver throughout NYC, NJ and CT based on assigned route. Successfully complete required hours of training and pass all required work, safety knowledge and driving assessments. Straight Truck Apprentices: 600 hours of training No Driving experience required, we offer training with our apprentice program. Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a "clean" driving record Possess and able to present a valid (non-expired) interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query Driving record with less than 2 moving violations Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions. Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a "clean" driving record
• Possess and able to present a valid (non-expired) interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
• Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
• Driving record with less than 2 moving violations
• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
