Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to obtain TWIC card.
  • Minimum requirements are 1 year CDL- A with tank and HazMat endorsement, with a desire to learn the tanker delivery field
  • Must be able to pass DOT certified physical examination maximum of every two years.
  • EEO/Drug Testing required prior to hiring. Random ongoing drug testing required while employed.
  • Must be able to use minimal math skills to calculate proper loading and delivery of products.
  • Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, must be able to bend, kneel, stoop and reach to perform duties.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, secure, transport, deliver and unload gasoline, oil and propane products to and from specified destinations. Following the route and time schedule provided by the Dispatcher.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.
  • Complete daily and monthly paperwork requirements in order to ensure compliance with company standards and protection of its assets 100% of the time.
  • Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions with exposure to oil and or propane fumes and the elements.
  • Follow all DOT and HazMat regulations, and Buell Fuels safety standards.
  • Must be safety focused with an ability to demonstrate the safe operation of the vehicle assigned. Including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Inform customers of new products and services.
  • Participate in any required job training and safety meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Will need to communicate all service issues properly to the mechanic and dispatcher.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining an environmentally compliant work space.
  • Report to work as scheduled with a minimal absenteeism or tardiness.
