JOB SUMMARY Georgia Power is hiring an engineer or scientist with 3-15 years of experience for our Environmental Affairs Team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on applying solid waste permitting, groundwater corrective action, and compliance strategies across our operations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to work in the coal combustion residuals (CCR) rule compliance space. You will work closely with our internal technical and regulatory teams as well as with third-party consultants, regulators, vendors, and industry experts.
