Your mission, roles and responsibilities Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a CBU Controller, GM for its location in Auburn Hills, MI. The Division CBU Controller is in charge of the CBU financials and is the interface between Finance and CBU team ensuring a reliable program profitability information through leading the Strategic Plan, Budget-P, Forecast, Actual-P and Squeeze by CBU process. CBU Controller is also supporting the CBUs in understanding and optimizing the profitability, preparing the monthly reporting packaging and tracking key commercial actions. This job will require you to: Ensure all financial related procedures and tools are implemented and followed Develop, execute, and control internal finance procedures in accordance with Group procedures and policies Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia Finance related procedures, and 11 internal control basics Ensure consistency and standardization of controlling processes within the BG/division Participate to the definition of IT tools and ERP to improve CBU controlling Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management Follow Acquisition, Development and Serial Programs at CBU level. Lead all forecasting processes (strategic plan, budget, periodic forecast, …) at CBU level. Validate the VAVE figures provided by the VAVE Director and ensure the correct reporting for Actual & Forecast figures. Manage CBU reporting process (P&L, P&L R&D, Squeeze, Overdue, LTC) ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance. Review and validate with Plants the Programs margin. Challenge Actual-P accuracy with Regional Operational Controllers & Plants generating a continuous improvement process. Follow-up improvement action plan. Get Engineering/CTC hours reported by program from R&D Controlling. Challenge hours booking from Engineering Division, create short term hour forecast for critical programs. Provide all necessary consolidated controlling analysis including variance analysis, CBU budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring. Lead the Tooling Asset Control and conciliation by CBU: spend budged control, billing, IC flows definition and Balance sheet control. Define tooling margin and write off tooling if needed. Control and manage the site’s operating cash flow by CBU (capex, assets, overdue). Support Acquisition process and key inputs along with Program Controller and Sales teams Act as a business partner toward the engineering and the CBU community, and provide recommendation to the management Support the improvements of the CBU business model Propose to the management action planss resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding costs, workload)

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a controlling/CBU management position
  • P&L, Balance sheet knowledge
  • Ability to dealing with ambiguity and managerial courage
  • Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Autonomy and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurship mindset
  • Ability to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve controlling performance
  • Fluent in English
