Our Summer Internship Program is a paid, immersive 10-week experience designed to help you explore career paths while bringing your passions and fresh perspectives to work. The CBS Sports Data Delivery & Insights team is responsible for providing data that help power user experience platforms across a wide variety of client products. The team works closely with vendors to ingest data, transform it, and provide to clients in a number of ways including APIs and real-time streaming services. The team also works hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure data quality, coverage, and availability. Our objective is to provide accurate and relevant data on time. Approximately 85% of the Intern's work would involve: Working with the team on high level design documentation, writing software code related to a specific data project, testing software, and writing any pertinent documentation for the project. Approximately 15% of the Intern's work will involve: Attending daily/weekly team meetings and project meetings as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Working towards Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Interest in Software Engineering or Data Engineering
  • Javascript/Typescript knowledge
  • Databases - relational (MySQL), noSql (MongoDB)
  • Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
  • You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
  • Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
  • Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
  • Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
