ANSER is seeking a CBRN Medical Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Requirements Office (JRO) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. In this role you will support the Joint Force in ensuring interoperability and integration of CBRND and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) capabilities.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • 7+ years of relevant area experience (comparable to a former O-4 or GS-13)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Joint Staff, OSD, a CCMD, and/or Service organizations
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of novel and emerging technologies

  • Conversant on the Joint Requirements Oversight Council and Joint Force Requirements Process

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief, Capability Integration Branch with reviewing and integrating Combatant Command (CCMD) and Service Joint Capability Requirements.
  • Support integration of joint medical capabilities through the development and maintenance of Joint Foundational Capability Documents to capture prioritized needs and modernization requirements prior to entering them into DoD’s Knowledge Management / Decision Support system.
  • Plan and host quarterly Continuous Assessment Process (CAP) meetings with relevant stakeholders and prepare post-execution meeting summaries.
  • Develop and complete Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) to accomplish tasks as necessary.
  • Provide medical CBRND feedback to the other JRO(CBRND) Branches to inform gap mitigation or residual risk assessments.
  • Maintain visibility of research, development, acquisition, and demonstration activities, evaluates proposed capabilities to address documented gaps, and incorporates emerging technologies into joint planning.
  • Prepare and provide senior-level briefings and reports on various technical issues.
