The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Partner with the CBG USAC SVP and VP of Manufacturing, ESC Operational Leaders and 3M BGs to drive E2E operational performance, service, productivity and set directions and targets on 4-wall plant productivity, spend, conversion cost and yield improvement and cash control (capex, inventory) and sourcing initiatives. Drive COGS improvement and credibility of USAC CBG COGS P&L and Balance Sheet projections in the short and medium term, including OP, Monthly forecasting process. Partner with business and supply chain teams to drive E2E alignment of demand, supply, production & inventory and efficiencies. Provide proactive financial leadership of Sourcing spend optimization (materials, outsourced manufacturing, logistics, freight) and Capex justification for cost savings, capacity, and Network projects (cash flow modeling, volume validation, tracking, and management to plan). Initiate and Drive process improvement, and the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational rhythm to assure accountability for service, COGS, Inventory, spending (plant and non-plant), working capital performance and yield improvements (vs plan/targets/prior periods). Supervise a team and attract, develop and retain talent. Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX and 3M Global Financial Standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years of experience in accounting and/or finance in a private, public, government, or military environment.

  • Ability to integrate external data to drive business decisions and lead teams.
