CBA: 1st shift; Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
About The Position
In order to apply for the CBA position, participants must be contracted through WA Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) services and working with a contracted service provider from Skills Inc. and DVR. Skills Inc., one of Washington State's largest aerospace suppliers, offers world-class, competitively-priced products and services which exceed customer's requirements for rigorous standards and excellence. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, communicate and/or follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to communicate in English through voice, or American Sign Language or adaptive technology
- The responsibilities of this position may require an individual to access and hold in confidence certain information. This means that information and/or documentation acquired about employees, suppliers, customers, business practices, and all other related information remains confidential.
- Due to Skills Inc.'s participation in the defense industry, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requires that access to sensitive information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies may only be accessed, viewed or shared by US Persons as defined by law. A "US Person" can be a US citizen; a lawful permanent legal resident or an individual who has been admitted as a refugee or asylee.
- Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Constant reaching forward and below waist level.
- Constant use of fingers/hands/arms to grasp, pinch, pull and feel.
- Frequent bending/squatting.
- Frequent exposure to loud noise.
- Frequent lifting or moving up to 30lbs and occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Occasional exposure to airborne particles.
- Occasional standing and/or walking.
- Use of industry standard personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
