About The Position

The Anna Jaques Hospital Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/ families/ significant others, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, value and mission behaviors of the of the patient care division. Job Description: Our cardiac catheterization/ interventional radiology lab performs diagnostic cardiac cath procedures, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, along with pacemaker, ICD implants, EP studies with ablation. The Interventional Radiology procedures include but are not limited to biopsies, port implants, drain placements, kyphoplasty, mechanical thrombectomy. Our team is made up of experienced and passionate Registered Nurses and Radiologic Technologists, who collaborate to deliver high-quality care. We currently work eight-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Monday through Friday. As a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology team member, you take the lead—prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating patient care throughout procedures. You are autonomous in your practice and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You’ll work side-by-side with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to ensure each patient receives safe, efficient, and compassionate care. You’ll monitor patients, circulate during procedures, and provide moderate sedation. We care for individuals with cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, as well patients requiring diagnostic and therapeutic procedures requiring multimodality imaging to include CT Scan guided procedures, ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy. Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Nursing License
- BLS
- ACLS
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Current or recent critical care/ICU and ER experience
- Any cath lab experience
